New Regulation of Jakarta Civil Servant TKD Released

The city administration has applied Gubernatorial Regulation No. 108/2016 on Regional Performance Allowance (TKD) Administration and Functional.

If they are absent or not working in one day, we won't pay their allowance

In the new regulation that was applied this May, the civil servant's allowance that paid will be calculated based on their performances.

Head of Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD), Agus Surdaika said, in one day, the civil servant will effectively working over 300 minutes. It can be see from employee's attendance list. If they are sick or absent, its allowance will not be paid.

Absent After Christmas, PNS' TKD will Be Revoked

"If they are absent or not working in one day, we won't pay their allowance," he expressed, Saturday (5/28).

He continued, the amount of unpaid allowances will be calculated with a set amount for a month. If they got Rp 50 million per month but absent in one day, it means Rp 2 million will not be paid.

According to him, all this time, they assume it would be cut if they are absent. The truth is it will not be paid if they are absent or not working. Socialization to civil servant will keep being intensified.

"In 25 days for instance, the allowance is Rp 50 thousand, that means we have to pay Rp 2 million per day and Rp 8 million if it is four days. Definitely, it is not cut, but unpaid," he stressed.

Meanwhile, there are very busy regional working units (SKPD) will get 120 percent of the allowance. That means, every employee will get more than 20 percent.

"Like in General Hospital (RSUD), it is maximally 120 percent. So, if your performance is very good, you can get more than 20 percent than others. And it will be multiplied by 120 percent," he finished.
